83 years in the material handling industry
Since 1937, Daifuku has been focused on material handling – the movement, storage, and management of goods and products. Our world-class systems lead the industry by combining innovative conveying, storage, sorting, picking and control techniques. Our products serve customers in a wide range of industries throughout the world.
Daifuku began in Automotive Systems, developing chain conveyors during the automobile industry boom. Today, our four core business divisions are Automotive operations, Intralogistics, Cleanroom Automation, and Airport Technologies. We also develop unique equipment, such as car washing machines, to improve local communities. Our subsidiary, Contec, supplies specialized electronics.
Daifuku's Shiga Works is the world's largest logistics and material handling equipment production site, with 12 factories spanning a total of 1.2 million square meters. Our factories produce advanced, quality products backed with 80 years of material handling experience.
All that experience helps us provide personalized material handling systems and services so that you can always be an edge ahead.
